Dear Parents, Grandparents, Teachers and Carers

This is a long page! I was a psychiatrist for 35 yrs. I want children to grow into healthy and happy adults.

I would like parents, grandparents, teachers and /or carers to read these poems to children.

The books 'Growing Up' and 'Coping with Illness and Grief' are only £9.99p+p&p each

Children can, of course, read them for themselves and enjoy them. However, hearing them allows them to absorb the gentle messages of kindness, courage, love and endeavour through the metaphorical verses and without the effort or distraction of actually reading the poems. Buy a book/s. I am selling them on the internet to avoid the large percentage charged elsewhere. These are inexpensive, good quality and I think you will agree that the outlay will be worth every penny. To know more, visit the main website- see end of page.

I am slowly creating this healthy, inspirational and interactive site for children, 5 - 11 yrs. I am writing short 'helpful' stories - I shall add these gradually to the site. A new story 'The Young Dragon' - about temper control has just been added. I am asking for pictures for the stories. The stories and topics along with the poems, would be helpful and effective for PSHE teaching. Details are on 'STORIES AND THINGS TO DO' page .

All files, stories and poems are copyright ACoatesworth

If you want the music for the songs, visit the music site and support teenager composer, Jamie Izak.
A new song from the poem 'Playing in the sand' is now available - a lively, calypso type rhythm.
