About me

This is me on holiday a few years ago. I was a bit younger then! My daughter took this photo - she thinks it is still a good one of me. I used to be a doctor - for many years I worked with patients who had problems, to help them to become well again. I was a psychiatrist. Now I have retired from being a doctor and I write - poetry and books. I have five grandchildren who call me Nana and they like my poems and stories. I hope you do too. I would like all children to be happy and wish that all people could be kind - do you think that is a lot to ask? You know - it isn't really difficult! I send money from the sale of these books to a children's charity. One of them is called 'The Smile Train' - the doctors in that Charity operate on children with cleft palates in countries where the operations would -otherwise- not be possible. Then they can lead much happier lives.
