I am going to tell you a story of a young dinosaur. His name is George Robert Egbert Archibald, Trevor. As you can imagine his full name was hard to remember. Sometimes he was called George, sometimes Robert or Egbert. His grandma often called him Archie and his granddad called him Trevor. So, his Mummy told everyone to call him GREAT and so they did. I will call him GREAT too. He liked that. ‘I am GREAT’ he would say, when anyone asked his name.
Can you remember all his names?
I think he was a Stegosaurus but I’m not quite sure.
The pictures of GREAT have a separate page. You can read first
or after you have seen the pictures .There is also a link to the pictures
at the end of the story.
.
READ THE STORY on the next few pages.
Then, if you would like to draw a picture/s and send it or them to me, I shall put it/them on the 'picture page'. I shall not put the name - just the initials of the child. I shall send a book 'Growing Up' to the child whose picture/s I put in the story- for their school class - if an address is sent to me by the parent or teacher
Get your parent or teacher to send the picture/s by post to
Make sure your initials, class and school address are sent to
or by email as a photo attachment to:- audrey.coatesworth@virgin.net
